| The Worcester County Arts Council’s Accessibility Statement: Art for All
The Worcester County Arts Council prides itself on utilizing facilities and venues that are accessible to all. In accordance with the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, and the Americans with Disabilities Amendment Act of 2008, the Worcester County Arts Council will not discriminate against qualified individuals with disabilities on the basis of disability in the Worcester County Arts Council's services, programs, or activities.
Effective Communication: The Worcester County Arts Council will generally, upon request with a notice of 14 business days before the date of the event, provide appropriate aids and/or services leading to effective communication for qualified persons with disabilities so they can participate equally in the Arts Council's programs, services, and activities.
Modifications to Policies and Procedures: The Worcester County Arts Council will make all reasonable modifications to policies and programs to ensure that people with disabilities have an equal opportunity to enjoy all County programs, services, and activities. For example, individuals with service animals are welcomed in WCAC sponsored events, even where pets are generally prohibited.
