Worcester County Arts Council - Executive Director
Anna Mullis began her carrier with the Worcester County Arts Council in 2005 and has striven to make the organization as successful as possible.
In her role as the Executive Director, Anna is responsible for overseeing all phases of the Arts Council by providing guidance to the organization to become increasingly visible, relevant, and adaptable, and to promote the awareness and importance of the Arts in the Community.
During her seventeen-year tenure with the Worcester County Arts Council, Anna has been providing dynamic leadership, directing policy making, planning, and organizing the operations of the organization to increase the awareness and importance of the Arts in the Community.
She serves as the chief spokesperson for the Arts Council in the Community: articulates and communicates the value of the Arts in improving our quality of life, and promotes Community support of the Arts and the Arts Council to ensure that the Arts are represented in the Community-at-large and for the constituency that the Arts Council serves.
Anna works closely with the Board of Directors to refine, develop, and implement a progressive program for the Council’s fundraising, art exhibitions, management, art educational activities, special events, and community outreach.
She is committed to working together with local artists, City, County, and State Officials, as well as the Arts and Entertainment District Committee and partnering organizations, to make our area a showplace for the Arts and Cultural Heritage, and the Arts as a Community Development Tool.
In her free time, she enjoys life’s simple pleasures: reading, gardening, and spending time with family and friends.
