Advocate for the Arts

Amplify our message – speak out on behalf of the arts!

As an arts advocate, the Arts Council is committed to helping community leaders and elected officials understand the many ways the arts contribute to our quality of life – we invite you to join us.

As artists and arts enthusiasts, you are in a unique position to create awareness of the positive impact of the arts. You have the power to educate and engage. Share your involvement in the arts with your friends and neighbors and build grassroots support for the arts in your neighborhood.

As a constituent, you are the ideal grassroots advocate. Contact community leaders and public officials and convey how essential the arts are to you and your family. Highlight the advocacy work you are doing in your community. Nothing is more powerful than hearing about real-life stories or experiences.
