BIOGRAPHY: When I was a child, I always enjoyed coloring in my coloring books. As I grew older, I enjoyed going to art shows and enjoying the wonderful works others produced. I enjoyed the work, and I enjoyed the artists, but I didn’t think I could be one.

Then I entered Art Institute & Gallery and met John Losonczy. He convinced me I could become an artist in his class. I signed up, bought the listed supplies, took vacation time from my job to give it a try, and I LOVED IT!

But I then realized that working and taking the classes were not compatible, so I set a goal that I would resume when I retired. In 2003 I retired, signed up for classes, and stayed with John until he stopped teaching. Along the way I signed up for additional classes and workshops with John Slater, Paul Leville, Kevin Fitzgerald, Willie Schlosbach, Stacie Hubeck, Mike Rooney, Leslie Beloso…and others. Whether it was in Ocean City, Berlin, Salisbury, Snow Hill, Easton, Cambridge…all different styles and all different approaches to teaching. What a fun 16 years!

One thing I have learned: We are all unique and special to God in our own way. One does one thing - One does another. But if it is your heart’s desire, and it is fun - GO FOR IT! I have had such fun becoming an artist.
