Biography:
Jim Coltellino - “AKA JUNGLE JIM” - Gecko Image Laser Works

Jim was born in Long Island, New York, but he has lived in the Berlin area for over twenty years. He was always interested in all forms of art. His interest started with a fascination of the Tattoo art form. Although he is not a Tattoo artist, he expresses his passion for art by experimenting with many different mediums such acrylic and watercolor painting, glass, wood, and Corian.

He creates custom mirrors, wooden frames, table lamps, and small wood projects made with exotic and domestic hardwoods. He also uses his photography combined with high powered laser technology to create most of his artwork.

Jim enjoys interpreting the world he sees through his artwork hoping that the viewer finds his personal approach inspiring and creative.
