Biography:
Joanne was trained first as painter, then as a teacher of art. She taught art in all grades including university and retired as Professor Emeritus. Her publications include textbooks on environmental design and field-guide paintings of mid-Atlantic fish and reptiles…in gouache. This opaque watercolor fully compliments her style called “precision painting”. She now lives close to the Atlantic near Selbyville, Delaware.
