BIOGRAPHY:
Margaret E. Bradach is a visual artist living on the Eastern Shore, Virginia. She is a self-taught painter and has studied with Anne Holland, Carole Boggemann Pierson, Barbara Schmitz, Nancy Richards West, Jack Richardson, and Elizabeth Hunt. She continues with classes at the Ocean City Center for the arts led by internationally known American and European artists.
Her paintings have been juried into shows in both Virginia and Maryland. She has won prizes for her work. Marge has a studio on Chincoteague Island and at the Historic Onancock School, College Avenue, Onancock, Virginia. Her work is shown in several galleries in Maryland and Virginia as well as in popular retail venues on Chincoteague Island.
Taking inspiration from the sights and sounds of the unique Easter Shore environs, her paintings can be literal or abstract depending on the medium. Ink, oil, acrylic, or a mix is used to create a vivid visual statement accompanied by original poems hidden in her work. She is also an artisan and creates jewelry and small stained glass works. Her specialty is pet portraiture, and she has been commissioned by clients here and in New Jersey.
