NANCY REYNOLDS
WORK DESCRIPTION I create copper foil and lead cane stained glass sun-catchers, windows, etching, and lampshades. I also use stained glass and other media such as shells, rocks, geodes, and fossils to create mosaic wall hangings, tables, picture frames, mirrors - just about anything that can be covered.
BIOGRAPHY My mother instilled in me a love of all types of art as a youngster, but I never dreamed I could be an artist. I took my first workshop in stained glass in 1990 and was instantly hooked with the beauty and creativity of the glass. In 2000 I had the opportunity to work part-time for several years for the owner of a stained glass supply store in North Carolina. Suzie is a truly talented glass artist who taught me how to do lead cane, etching, mosaics, repair work, and many “tricks of the trade.” Now that I am retired from my profession of physical therapy, I am excited to have more time to devote to my art and see where the creativity takes me! I very recently moved to the Eastern Shore from NC and am thrilled to be a part of the art community here in Maryland!
